Description

The visual frost alert allows the temperature of an area to be easily displayed and will be activated by colour when frost conditions are approaching.

When the temperature approaches freezing, the high-power LED light (visible from approximately 3 kilometres away) changes colour and flash rate to indicate temperature conditions at a glance.

Characteristics of the visual frost warning:

  • The system is activated when the temperature is below 3°C and flashes faster until -1°C is reached.
  • The LED light is so intense that it can be seen from more than 3 km away.
  • Requires one 6-volt battery (not included).
  • Automatic switch-off when 3°C is reached to save energy.

The lights will warn you about the temperature drop and the risk of frost. There are 4 ranges set:

  1. Green: when there is more than 1 ºC.
  2. White: when the temperature is between 0 ºC and 1 ºC.
  3. Red: Less than 0 ºC.
  4. Red and flashing: the temperature is below -1 °C.
