Turf - Tec has designed a portable infiltration meter with which you can measure the infiltration of water in a sports surface (both natural and artificial grass). Being much smaller than the double ring infiltrometer the marks on the turf are much smaller. This is a great advantage as it allows frequent measurements to be taken without damaging the field.

This infiltrometer will be able to determine the infiltration rate of a point in an area in just 15 minutes!

How to use the Turf-Tec Portable Infiltrometer

Technical characteristics of the portable iniltrometer:

• You will be able to measure the downward flow of water through the turf and soil, on all areas of your surface.
• Possibility to correlate watering time with the infiltration rate of your lawn.
• It allows problems such as black layer or root asphyxia to be foreseen and solved before they get worse.
