Microgaia

Microgaia Biotech applies molecular biology to the diagnosis of turf diseases. Its phytAlert Turf kit is a portable qPCR laboratory that detects and quantifies pathogenic microorganisms on site, before symptoms appear, and makes it possible to confirm which disease is involved and how great the load is in the plant or in the soil. With that information, treatment is decided on evidence rather than suspicion: action is taken earlier, with the right product and only where it is needed. It is laboratory technology placed within the greenkeeper's reach.
